Specialised Services

Septoplasty

A septoplasty is a procedure to straighten the nasal septum — the thin wall of cartilage and bone that divides the nostrils. When the septum is deviated, it can block airflow and cause long-term congestion. This surgery improves breathing by opening the nasal passages. There are no external cuts, and recovery is usually quick.

Septorhinoplasty

Septorhinoplasty combines septoplasty (to improve breathing) with rhinoplasty (to adjust the external shape of the nose). It is used for patients who have both airway blockage and concerns about the appearance or structure of their nose. The aim is a nose that looks natural and works well, improving both airflow and facial harmony.

Allergy Surgery

Allergy surgery helps manage symptoms for patients whose nasal allergies do not respond to medication alone. Treatments may include a combination of procedures described above, but also cryosurgery to the nerve that supplies the lining of the nose. The goal is to reduce congestion and discharge, providing longer-term relief.

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)/Polypectomy

Endoscopic sinus surgery treats chronic sinusitis, polyps, and blocked sinuses using miniature cameras and instruments. The surgery opens natural sinus pathways, improves ventilation, and helps prevent repeated infections. It is minimally invasive, with no external cuts, and when performed effectively by rhinologists, can reduce long-term symptoms and reduce the need for revision surgery.

Endoscopic Septal Perforation Repair

A septal perforation is a hole in the nasal septum that may cause crusting, whistling, bleeding or breathing discomfort. Repairing the perforation involves closing the hole, usually with no external cuts, using tissue grafts from inside the nose, restoring normal airflow.

Turbinate Reduction Surgery

A septal perforation is a hole in the nasal septum that may cause crusting, whistling, bleeding or breathing discomfort. Repairing the perforation involves closing the hole, usually with no external cuts, using tissue grafts from inside the nose, restoring normal airflow.

Endoscopic CSF Leak Repair

A cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak occurs when the protective fluid around the brain leaks through a small opening into the nose. Endoscopic repair uses small instruments and grafts to seal the leak from inside the nose, avoiding the need for external surgery. This procedure is highly specialised and helps prevent serious complications while restoring normal nasal and skull base function.

Tumour Surgery

Nasal and sinus tumours, whether benign or malignant, require precise assessment and specialist management. Using advanced endoscopic techniques, these growths can often be removed through the nostrils without any external incisions, allowing for accurate treatment while preserving surrounding structures.

Endoscopic Surgery for Recurrent Epistaxis (Nosebleeds)

Recurrent or severe nosebleeds can be worrying and disruptive. Endoscopic treatment offers a safe, effective way to locate and seal the bleeding point using a small camera inside the nose. This minimally invasive approach avoids external incisions, provides precise control of the bleeding area and helps prevent future episodes. Most patients recover quickly and can return to normal activities soon after treatment.

Platelet Rich Plasma for Olfactory (Smell) Disturbance

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is a minimally invasive treatment that uses your own blood-derived growth factors to support healing in the smell area of the nose. It may help improve persistent smell loss, especially after viral infections, when standard treatments have not been effective. The procedure is quick, safe and performed under local anaesthetic.

“Exceptional care begins with listening. Every symptom has a story, and every patient deserves the time to tell it”.
